Welcome to the Back River Surge
Welcome to the Back River Surge Web Site. This non profit organization is dedicated to the development of our players both on and off the field. It is our goal that our girls not only mature into better athletes and softball players but they use the discipline and drive learned in the Surge experience to elevate their academic performance and civic awareness.
With Surge currently fielding teams in the 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U age groups our intent is for players to participate and grow within the Surge system and realize their maximum potential.

ATTENTION MEMBERS !
We are going to combine the November and December Surge Board Meetings in observance of the Holiday Season. The next regular meeting will occur at 6pm on Monday December 8, 2008 at the offices of Lockwood Broadcasting. All members are encouraged to attend and participate. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday.

Surge 16U Girls win USSSA World Qualifier in Sterling Virginia
The 2008-2009 Surge 16U team in only their second tournament won the Potomac River Clash the weekend of September 27-28th. Posting a perfect record of 6 wins and no losses for the victory the girls moved their season record to 8-2. The Potomac River Clash was a World Qualifier and by winning Surge is now qualified to play in the Nationals next summer.
